Technology

How we build

The route from sketch to field trial runs across a single production site: design, moulds, composites, avionics and flight testing.

Full cycle

Four stages

3D design
01

3D design

In SolidWorks and RHINO we build the overall design, lay out the internal arrangement of units and equipment, and calculate the airframe’s aerodynamic characteristics and lift coefficient.

Moulds and composites
02

Moulds and composites

From the calculated geometry we produce the moulds, then cure the carbon- and glass-fibre skins in them. Internal load-bearing structures are made from metal, plastic and aviation plywood.

Avionics and integration
03

Avionics and integration

The flight-control loop, the 868 MHz telemetry link, the ground station and payload integration. The mission is prepared in advance and uploaded to the aircraft.

Field testing
04

Field testing

Every aircraft is proven in real conditions — wind, cold and heat. Test results feed straight back into the structure and the control algorithms.

Capabilities

What we can do

Design and aerodynamics

General layout, internal arrangement of units, airframe aerodynamics and lift coefficients are calculated in SolidWorks and RHINO.

Composite manufacturing

Moulds, internal load-bearing structures and carbon/glass-fibre skins — this is where a light yet rigid airframe is born.

CNC and 3D printing

Professional 3D printers, laser cutters and CNC mills produce parts in metal, plastic and aviation plywood to exact tolerances.

Avionics and autopilot

Flight-control loop, 868 MHz telemetry link, autonomous waypoint navigation and the ground control station.

Payload integration

Photo and HD video cameras, NDVI sensors, thermal imagers, IR cameras, gas analysers and ground-penetrating radar — all adapted to a single airframe.

Training and support

Operator training, field trials, warranty service and data-processing methodology complete every delivery.
